What documents can I submit?

Complete proposals for residential, cash-pay asphalt-shingle roof replacement before contract or deposit. One to three proposals or revisions for the same project are supported.

What is not supported?

Insurance, carrier, claim, public-adjuster, storm-scope, or Xactimate documents; repairs or emergency work; commercial roofs; and metal, slate, tile, cedar, or shake roofs.

Is public checkout open?

No. The product is in calibration. $19 is the planned public price after the 20-project certification gate is met.

Does the record certify my roofer?

No. GougeAlert compares written proposal scope. It does not certify contractor quality, licensing, workmanship, engineering, code compliance, or outcome.

Why is price context sometimes absent?

GougeAlert only displays price claims with suitable source, date, geography, and confidence. Otherwise it abstains and keeps the record scope-only.

What if analysis is unable to complete?

The system fails closed. During an active 30-day pass, the normal remedy is a dated, no-charge replacement upload without manual fulfillment.

Do you sell my data or refer roofers?

No. GougeAlert does not sell homeowner data, send proposals to roofers, or accept contractor-paid placement or referral commissions.
