Standard pricing is $9.99 for one home project, with same-project quote reruns for 30 days. No subscription or automatic renewal.
Reports are not legal, financial, engineering, or professional contracting advice.
We cannot guarantee a contractor will negotiate, lower a price, or accept the report.
We do not sell your quote or contact details to contractors or lead buyers.
Legal terms
GougeAlert analyzes contractor quotes you submit and provides report outputs about price fairness, scope clarity, and risk signals. A Project Pass covers one home project for 30 days, including same-project reruns for revised or competing quotes.
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for submitting accurate project information.
Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout. Taxes may apply where required.
If a report does not help, contact support within 7 days and we will review the refund request promptly.
Do not upload unlawful content, malicious files, third-party data you are not allowed to share, or attempt to abuse the service.
Contractor pricing varies. Reports are decision-support tools and should be considered alongside your own judgment, competing bids, references, and professional advice where appropriate.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, GougeAlert liability is limited to the amount paid for the Project Pass at issue.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
